What is Reiki?

What is a Reiki Master?

        A Reiki Master Healer is one who understands the deeper meaning of true healing and has dedicated his/her life to spiritual growth.  A Reiki Master is able to channel universal healing energy through touch to help others heal themselves.

Is There a Difference Between Reiki and Seichim?

        Although some feel Seichim is a more advanced system of healing, we do not.  Seichim does appear to be an older science, but both use the same exact source of healing energy, as do all other energy healing methods.  Seichim uses different symbols and has more than Reiki, but uses similar healing methods. To argue over which is better or worse is only a timewaster and a trap to keep one from progressing as a healer. Which one is right for you?  Whichever one you are drawn towards.  Many are drawn towards both!

What is an Attunement?

    An Attunement is an 'energy initiation' passed from a Healing Instructor to a student.  An Attunement aids the new Healer in opening to new levels of awareness and healing energies.  It increases their vibrational frequency and allows them to hold and pass more energy.  Both Seichim and Reiki students receive a series of Attunements while learning this healing art.  There are two main ways to perform attunements; by distance or in-person .  Distance attunements are offered to our online home-study certification students. Occasionally, we offer in-person attunements in the Atlanta , Georgia area and during our Healing Excursions to Port Antonio , Jamaica .

Can I be sure I will receive the Distance Attunement?

        When you take a healing course at the Universal Temple of Healing, you can be sure you will be attuned.  We are spiritually guided to help initiate many who are ready to become Healers.  By choosing this path, The Universe is completely backing you.  We are simply participants in this glorious process.  This contract is between you and The Divine Presence;  we are only the 'middlemen' in opening you up to new healing energies. The Divine Presence will ensure the energy gets to you in its full force.  Why? This is because you are created from the Divine Presence which called you into healing.  It is within you and It WANTS to broaden the connection with you.  It wants you to progress in order to further the Divine Plan.  You then, are the necessary ingredient.  You must be willing to expand your consciousness in order to grow as a Healer. The Attunement simply helps you to do this. 

          Another way of looking at this is to remember that The Kingdom of Heaven (Universe) is within you.  When you begin to study energy healing, your connection with this internal power source begins to widen.  Your energy levels will automatically increase as you understand and apply the information. The Attunement then, is an energy booster shot that will further widen this connection.  It is something one may have to experience to understand. 

What is Soul Work?

        Soul work is the same thing as spiritual growth.  It is not 'work' in the normal sense.  It is actually a lifting of negative emotional baggage and trauma, a lightening of the load, so to speak.  As Jesus said, 'My yoke is light,' as one begins to maintain a steady connection with The Divine Presence, problems, fears and anxieties drop away. This lightening is also an en-lightening, and as negative things drop, wisdom and peace have room to increase in your life.  As one maintains connection with The Divine Presence, a steady stream of vitality, joy and authentic power is always within you.  Soulwork then is effortless.  It only requires one to have the proper Intent and the willingness to Surrender.  (More about this is contained in the Seichim Energy Healing Course. (more information).  One cannot effectively do energy healing work without undergoing continual soulwork.

Is this course right for me?

        At Universal Temple of Healing, we are pleased with the structure of our courses.  We feel the ability to share this information is a divine gift.Our courses are designed to emphasize the practical way to become a Healer.  They focus on helping you develop your intuition along with helping you learn the basic methods, techniques and symbols used in Seichim Energy Healing.  We feel healing is a lifelong process that includes soulwork.  Helping others to heal themselves is also a part of a Healer's own spiritual growth.

        Our courses begin at the beginning, with the basic concepts of healing, and then progress into specific techniques, methods and practices involved in Sechim Energy Healing;  therefore they are perfect for the beginner or expert. We take both a wholistic and a holistic approach, emphasizing the Healer's physical, emotional, mental and spiritual states (wholistic) as well as the importance of connecting with the Divine Healing Source within (holistic).  We feel that learning to heal should be a fun and enjoyable process, just  the opposite of the harried, frazzled interns of traditional medical professions.  You should begin to feel happier, more peaceful and relaxed, and more in control of your world as you progress through the course.

        Maintaining good health is easier than trying get well every time we fall sick.  Everyone has the ability to heal, but not everyone knows how to use it.  This program is for anyone seeking to understand more about energy and how it relates to staying healthy. This program is also for all those seeking to strengthen their connection with the Divine Presence, thereby increasing the potential for all the effects of true healing:  good health, love, success and peace.
 

Are there any special requirements for studying Energy Healing?

          To become an Energy Healer, you only have to have the Intent to surrender to the goodness of The Divine Presence within you allow yourself to be guided by It.  You must have the desire to spread Universal Love and to make yourself a clear channel for the Universal Healing Energy.

        Remember that healing requires change.  As a new Healer, you will begin to radiate at higher frequencies.  You will begin to expand on many levels and this will often require shifts in your personal life.  Many times change will happen unexpectedly and may not seem positive at first.  But as your awareness expands, you will truly 'see' that all that happens is for your ultimate growth.  If you are willing to surrender to the fact that you are being guided, there are no real coincidences, and to believe in the unlimited potential of your future, you are ready to begin.
