Miracle AIDS Healing Story

It has been said that “Christians killed Christianity.”  This is because the real message has been lost to many, and that is of the power of the spirit to overcome the physical world. When Jesus rose from the dead he told his followers that this possibility to overcome has been granted to all of mankind….if you just Believe.

According to the Aquarian Gospel of Jesus the Christ, “Jesus came to suffer at the hands of men, to give his life as a pattern for the sons of men. (my emphasis).  To rise from death that men might know the way to rise from death.” (p. 249)

As you know, he healed many and taught his disciples to do the same. Some of them even brought people back to life as Jesus did.

We believe this same energy is ever present and ever ready to heal us if we only understand.

Here is a miracle story about someone who says: “God did several miracles in my life as he became more and more real. My health improved. The cancer stopped growing and the AIDS is now undetectable in my blood.”

DENIAL

While we all know that being ‘in denial’ may not be such a good thing, the process of denial is a very profound spiritual technique.

We often talk about the power in affirmation, and denial is a counterpart to this. It can be considered the ‘other side’ of the affirmation, and it works very well for those who are ‘stuck’ in a pattern of self-defeating beliefs.

Emilie Cady speaks about this in the 4th part of her Lessons in Truth book.

Verse 40 states:

“ All your happiness, all your health and power, come from God. They flow in an unbroken stream from the fountainhead into the very center of your being and radiate from center to circumference. When you acknowledge this constantly and deny that outside things can hinder your happiness or health or power, it helps you to realize health and power and happiness.”

In this case, we are denying that anything and everything outside of God (or that is not God) has power over our lives. It is important to bear in mind that when we say anything that is not God, we are quite literally speaking of illusions. This is because everything, everything, everything, IS God!

This in turn empowers us to understand that it is only our relationship with the Most High that truly matters. Anything else is just a symbol of this relationship.

For example, positive friendships and relationships in general are a symbol that a relationship with the Most High is in order, or that we have established this connection. They allow us to demonstrate God’s love for us in our actions towards others.

Mother Prayer

Dear Lord,
today we pray for mothers–
our own mothers, and mothers everywhere,
who have made such a major contribution
to the good qualities we have,
sometimes through genetics,
more often through great effort and patient instruction,
and who have done their best
to gently polish away our rough edges.
Lord, please bless our mothers
for the endless hours of time they spent
and the boundless energy they invested in us.
Bless our mothers for their sacrifices on our behalf
as they often gave up or deferred their own dreams
so that we could have ours.
Bless our mothers for always being there for us,
for being the person we know we can turn to
when we need comfort, encouragement, or just a hug.
Bless our mothers for making a home for us

Are you blaming anyone rather than acknowledging your power?

It’s easy to see the other person, so hard to see ourselves. My youngest son was yelling at his little sister out of frustration, since he has little patience and she often ‘pushes his buttons’….on purpose. When I asked him why he was being loud, he said, “because she makes me so mad.” I stopped him and said, “wait a minute. Stop blaming her. She didn’t make you mad. You choose to be mad.” He laughed. (and I laughed too.)

Adults are just big kids….big kids who often blame the other person in a similar fashion, or even worse, the devil! “The devil made me do it” may not be a literal translation of how we feel but it’s often accurate. We can get in the habit of making ourselves truly believe that someone else has that kind of power over us. They don’t.

No one has power over us, even the Angels were not given as much power as mankind, according to the Bible. Our right of free will is a monumental thing…if we acknowledge it.

joy is like chocolate for the soul

Dr. Suni will be away for the weekend and therefore our Friday Healing Circle radio program will not broadcast this Friday. However, continue to send in your healing requests, and we will add them to the list for next week. We continue to pray over the names whether or not we do the radio show. The show is something we do out of enjoyment and to allow listeners a chance to share this space with us. However, it’s no fun doing the show without Dr. Suni!

Know this: All is well (despite how it may seem) and the peace within you can truly be made to manifest in the outside world. Wishing you love, light, and harmony.

Affirmation of the week: I wake up each day with excitement and look forward to bringing my best into the world.

Synchronicity is one of my favorite words. Don’t get a whole lot of time to watch TV, but when I do sit down and flip the channels, it’s usually for a reason that I’m unaware of until afterward.

Last night I had the pleasure of watching Oprah’s visit to India. It was very late, around midnight, and I was extremely moved by the program. Although there were a lot of things to take from it, the biggest insight I got revolved around Love.

It’s something we’re all seeking. However, as it’s been said, how can you wait for your ‘ship to come in,’ when you haven’t sent one out?

I say this because there was a portion of the program dealing with how widows are treated in India. Not going into the social beliefs that support this treatment, instead, it made me think about love.

These widows all have children, as Oprah mentioned. Yet, many are forced to beg, and they’re generally treated as outcasts and lower-level citizens. What happened to the love? It takes more than just a body to birth a child. To carry a child, nurture a child, feed a child, teach a child and raise a child is the hardest job on the planet. Few will disagree with this.

However, the question this leaves in my mind is, can all of the above activities be done without the presence of love? Or, how can society supersede human connection?

We at Universal Temple of Healing believe that love is the strongest force in the universe. It overrides reason, logic, and even physical limitations. We’ve all heard the story of the granny who lifted a car to save her loved one who was trapped underneath. The force of love can give one superhuman strength.

Yet, in that society, the children of these women don’t step in and help them, or so it seems. Complete strangers have to be their sole support.

Since it’s probably more beneficial to talk about the solution than the problem, the solution as I see it is to send love out in major proportions. It starts with those around you and it spreads to those whom you have never even met. For example, by being kind to someone you know, this person in turn will be kind to someone you don’t know. This is the power and the nature of this mysterious force.

I hope to not have unintentionally offended anyone or make any judgments that shouldn’t be made. The world is changing, slowly, but in a positive way. My intention is to say that it’s my belief that love can truly change the world one person at a time. Love can overrule social restrictions. Haven’t we heard true stories about royals who have abdicated thrones or turned their backs on their privileged lives due to finding the one person that can truly make them feel that life is worth living?

If whole societies can mistreat those who have the most responsibility, then those who are being mistreated should find a way to change this for future generations. While this may seem an overwhelming task, it really isn’t. Spreading love one person at a time is the easiest thing we can do!

Who can you send some love energy to today? The challenge is to send it to someone who you least desire to send it to! For example, someone who is making your life miserable may be crying out for love and this is the only way they know to do it.

The universe is not partial. You will receive back everything you send out, multiplied.

In a previous article, I was discussing the importance of taking Self Inventory. This is because we often go through life on automatic pilot mode and without stopping and analyzing things along the way, we can easily get into a rut.

In the last week two people I know, both at almost polar opposite ends of the spectrum expressed that they had lost their joy in life. Although their situations are vastly different, they both feel as if life has lost its meaning and value.

Both want change. However, 6 months from now one of them may be in a better position, while the other may not. Why? Because of their willingness to do things now to affect that outcome. However, if you don’t know what to do how can you take action?

Self Inventory can help one define what is truly a want, what is truly a need, and even more important……. what do you truly expect? Because no matter what information you gather during this process, your psychological makeup has more power to determine the outcome that results.

For example, if you want something, you truly do have the means to make it happen. But do you expect it to happen? This is a very important aspect. If deep down, you have issues with self worth, guilt, or some other self-defeating emotion, it can work against everything you want to achieve.

I once read a book called “Miracles Do Happen” in which the writer shared a story about a little dog belonging to his wife. His wife told him not to feed the dog table scraps as it wasn’t good for the dog for some reason. However, when she wasn’t around, the dog would beg and he would break down and slip the dog a few scraps. The dog came to expect this.

If I recall the story correctly, one day his wife was around and the dog sat patiently waiting for his scraps as usual. But the man couldn’t give them to the dog because he didn’t want his wife to see. But the dog wouldn’t go away! He sat there patiently but with a clear and distinct air of expectation. He wasn’t going away until he got his scraps! (…and he eventually did.)

The writer who had experienced many personal miracles in his own life, enough to share his insight in this book, used this example to show how the power of expectation works. If you expect something to happen, you don’t give up, you don’t get impatient, you peacefully cause things to manifest by your attitude and your demeanor. Every thought, every action, every emotion, sends shock waves into the universe. These waves magically bring things back in accord with the vibration.

A Self Inventory can also help us to deal with the challenges we all face. For example, whatever you truly want, meaning something that is in harmony with your soul, will bring you comfort as you go about achieving it. However, if there is too much stress or anxiety surrounding something that you ‘think’ you want, chances are it’s not really a want. By identifying this, you can drop it before it becomes a burden to your spirit.

For example, someone who wants to be married, yet who gets stressed and anxious about how to meet the ‘right one,’  may be chasing an illusion. The seeming want to be in a relationship may actually be just a want to share their life that is disguised or not clarified. A Self Inventory can help one to come to this conclusion.  Then, instead of going to all of the singles spots looking for Mr. or Mrs. Right, the person may choose to take different actions. The person may choose to join a group where he or she may find friendship and companionship that fulfills them completely. Miraculously, the ‘want’ to be in a relationship will evaporate, because it surely wasn’t a want indeed.

Yes, it is wise not to dictate how you think something will happen, as the universe provides in its own way knowing what your best interest is at core. But expecting it to happen means, it’s gonna happen!

Do you expect to be happy? Do you expect to be loved? Do you expect to feel fulfilled? If one or more of the answers is no, you’re in the right place to begin making changes to alter your future for the better.

AFFIRMATION OF THE WEEK: All cells in my body are reborn to health and perfection, as ordained by the universal mind of God within me.

It’s springtime again, and time for new things and new ideas. It’s time to do some spring cleaning in more than just a physical sense. Taking an inventory can be helpful. For example, what thoughts, actions or behaviors are no longer necessary and no longer serve your highest good? Which people in your life no longer benefit you emotionally and vice versa? Are there any changes you have been wanting to make to improve your health?

This year I started drinking greens. I have been making fruit smoothies for quite a few years now using seaweed to boost my energy and help my cells to multiply in a healthy manner. However, I never drank greens before nor incorporated them into my smoothies. I usually made salads and ate them in this way. The challenge with that however is that I’m not always in the mood to eat greens! Although cooking them is another way of getting them into your diet, the power of eating raw cannot be overstated.

So this year one of the changes I made is to start juicing greens such as dill (my favorite), turnip greens, beets (the greens and the root), and cabbage. I have found combinations to make this very palatable and I feel the benefits immediately. When it hits my stomach it’s easily digested since it’s in liquid form and I can feel the energy as it enters my bloodstream. And the kicker is that it’s easy to make, and even easier to drink! Therefore, I have been getting a lot more nutritious greens into my diet lately. And the benefits are too numerous to even list.

I also researched natural rainwater and am planning to have some 55 gallon drums installed in my backyard so that my garden will benefit from this. I also plan to use some of it as drinking water.

The above examples just show that change is something we all can do no matter how much we think we know. Truly experiencing on a daily basis that there is so much out there to learn and so many ways to grow keeps life interesting if it even attempts to become dull…
